How short of a sound (/ms) can trigger sound detection?
I am curious about how short of a sound can trigger sound detection.

Hi,
Different sounds need different durations to be detected due to different timbre, frequency, and loudness. Generally, crying takes about 2 seconds, cat/dog barking takes about 1 second, and glass breaking takes about 1 second to be detected by the camera. Please note that specific environmental differences (environmental noise, distance, direction, etc.) will affect the sound and thus the duration required for detection.
Best Regards
