Firmware Version: 1.1.14

Hi,

Having big issues with playback on all of my 3 Tapo c325wb cameras.

Live view and cloud playback is fine but playback from sd cards ( Samsung pro endurance in 2 cameras and sandisk max endurance in 1 )is not working good at all .

Problem 1: laggy and skippy playback from sd card

Have tried on the same wifi network with several different devices, no difference.

If you look at the playback you can se on the clock how it counts the seconds way to slow , freeze for a 1-2sec and then jumps forward and some times even skip up to 4-5 sec .

Problem 2:

When using cvr and you tapp on a happening that starts at a certain time,lets say 10:00 .

After you tapped on that "recording " its starts "thinking" for quit some time and then it starts showing the recorded material but it always starts 10-30min earlier then the event .

Its like the time line if not function correctly.

Problem 3.

When only recording events the cameras dont want to record more the about 30sec even if vehicles or persons are still in motion and same distance from the camera as when started the recording .

This is both on cloud and sd card.

No live view issues besides that it some times changes from 2k to 720 resolution even though its not set on auto .

Latest firmware on both app and cameras,have restarted all cameras several times and even reinstalld all, great connection.

Using Deco x50 mesh with 3 clients (2 outdoor)

  @JhMan

Hi,
Please help confirm the following information for the reported case.

1. What's the model number and capacity of the microSD card inserted into the camera?

2. Can you share the videos showing the phenomenon you described in the problem 1, 2, and 3?

3. How many devices are watching the camera simultaneously? Especially when the camera changes the resolution from 2K to 720P.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

1:I have 3 different sd cards, all act the same.

Samsung pro endurance 128 , Samsung pro endurance 256,sandisk max endurance 256.

2: time line issues seem to be gone today.

See this videos that shows the lag and that the cameras some times stop recording even when objects with motion is still in range .

The lag and skippy is way worse in some cases than it is in this video.

(Cloud playback, no lag but also stops recording to early)

3: its just one device watching at the time.

  @JhMan

After checking the cloud playback a little more I can see that its also have some lag and skipping but not even close as bad as the sd card playback.

Here is a resent cloud playback, here you also see how it cuts recording when the car is still in range and moving.
