I just bought a pair of P100s (I already have a number of HS100s). My issue is that my HS100s show up on the Tapo app but their custom icons have changed to generic ones and I cannot find a way of creating custom icons under Tapo (which Kasa allowed me to do).
The problem is that the Tapo app only offers a limited selection of just 15 icons. There is no option I can find to add icons by using your camera or uploading from your photo library. Both those options were available using the Kasa app.
The customised icons I set up under Kasa have not transferred to Tapo.
Unfortunately the Tapo app seems a backward step in this area.

It looks like the Tapo app simply does not have the same features as Kasa. I will try contacting support and see of there are any plans to implement the Kasa features into Tapo.
