Been using the Tapo c100 home security camera from last 4 months without any problem until the camera won't load in some phones with different network providers. Tried to reset the camera and reconnect it to the home wifi but now it doesn't connect with any wifi in the house. Deleted the camera from the app, removed the SD card, reset the camera again but still even though the camera detects different wifi in the house still it won't connect with any wifi even to the old wifi it had been working with before. I've tried taking the camera near the router still it cannot connect.

 

we have another tapo c100 camera it's working fine with the home wifi since 2 years.

Hi,
Please help confirm the following information for your case.
1. Please ensure your phone has no VPN program running when configuring the camera.
2. Change the Wi-Fi name and password of the wireless router if possible, and set the Wi-Fi name and password to not include special characters, such as #, &, *, etc.
3. Try to configure the camera with a different phone if you have another one.
4. Enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, reset the camera to factory default settings, use a different phone to reconfigure it connect to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and check if you can set it up successfully.
