Please confirm the following information for the reported issue for further analysis if you are willing to troubleshoot the issue.

    1. What's the version of the Tapo app?

    2. Please send us the model number and capacity of the inserted microSD card.

    3. Send us a picture showing the reported issue.

    4. Refer to the instructions below to send us the app log, and let us know if you have sent us the app log.

I would bother doing that but to what end? Everyone else did and yet the problem persists for everyone. The sd card is a decent one from a name brand, the issue is the same as others presented and there has been no firmware update for the cameras for more than a year. I get sending this debugging would help you fix the problem, but since it was presented countless times already, and a firmware update wasn't sent to fix it, why would I bother?
