Sunset Trigger not working Tapo P100
Sunset Trigger not working Tapo P100
I have 5 Smart Plugs configured to turn on at sunset and everything has been working great for a number of months, but having loads of issues in the last week. 1 x Smart plug stopped triggering at sunset first, then the rest have stopped. I can see no events in the run history, have power cycled all plugs and modems etc.
Anyone got any idea whats wrong and the fix? Am I the only one with this issue?
On a side note yesterday all the plugs have a label "New" on the homescreen which doesn't make sense because they are configured for months.

02/10 Update:
The problem has been fixed now.
If any user encounters a similar problem, here are some tips that might be helpful. Leave your comment, problem description, and the results of the below suggestion and tests if the problem still exists.
1. Reboot router and the plug
2. Delete and create a new Smart Action rule
3. Comparison test: create a sunrise/sunset rule in the Schedule instead of Smart action
4. Comparison test: create a fixed time rule in the Smart action

Same issue here too.
Three smart plugs turn on at Sunset - 15mins, well they did until Wednesday (1st on the month?).
History shows that at 16:45 ( which is approx 8-9 mins after when I would have expected the trigger) all three plugs show action 'Turn On', however plug 1 has a red circle with a white exclamation mark next to it, as does the smart action. I have no idea if the other 2 plugs came on, I wasn't there (the whole point of automation!).
Since then my smart action 'Turn lights ON' has not run, I now have to run the action manually,
All actions run Ok when maually triggered.
I have not yet removed and reconfigured so don't have New against any device.

@sligmay Thanks for the update and advice. Great to hear you managed to get it working again. I'll unplug for a few hours and have another go.

Sunday's results:
Remove plug 1 (the one that had the exclamation mark on the last Auto run) from the action.
Set manual time, Auto run turned on the 2 remaining plugs.
Plugs turned off
Plug 1 added back into action, time changed to Sunset - 5hrs (17:00-5 = 12:00 today)
12:00 Auto action ran, all 3 plugs on, I think we have cracked it.....
Plugs turned off
Change action time to the required Sunset - 15 mins (16:45 today)
16:45 comes and goes No action run! Quickly change it to Sunset -5
16:55 comes and goes No action run! Change it to Sunset
17:00 comes and goes, No action run change to manual 17:05
17:05 Auto action ran, all 3 plugs on.....
Have now changed it back to Sunset - 15 mins and will wait to see what happens tommorow.

Sunset rule failed to trigger again last night.
Rule deleted, plugs power off ( 4 hours ), rule recreated set for Sunset - 1 hour.
16:04 Action ran correctly.
Rule changed to Sunset -15 mins.
16:49 Action ran correctly

Thanks to al for the suggestion but sadly still no success at all with the sunset automation.
I've logged a ticket and referenced this thread as requested. TKID230212542

Sunrise and sunset times are not fixed each day. The cloud will intelligently adjust the sunrise and sunset time for each day based on latitude and longitude changes.
According to your two tests, it indicated that the sunset time of this day is 17:04 and sunset automation worked correctly.
