Hello.

I have 4 C100s.

I wish to continuously observe using these 4 cameras.

The app provides the possibility to look at all 4 cameras at the same time. However, this is currently a very resource intensive task. As a result, the battery drains quickly and the device gets hot.

A few ideas:

- that instead of a live video feed, this "observation mode" could show a picture every 3 second.

- that instead of a live video feed, this "observation mode" could only become active if the motion detection detects motion.

By having such an "observation mode", it will allow users to interact on more continuous basis with the app. Kind request to please consider this functionality.

  Hello @BeerTime

Thank you for the feedback, this does not seem to be a very common , but more for some special scenarios, we'd record this feature request first.

Theoretically the camera can be viewed 24/7 while Tapo camera is more for household scenarios. For continuous streaming, you may consider some professional surveillance system like VIGI camera which is designed to do 24/7 recording with NVR and perform better when do 24/7 continuous streaming.

Please use the TP-Link original power adapter and make sure it's away from direct heat and if the camera gets hot.

It is encouraged to also share your idea on Feature Request board or leave vote for Most Popular Feature Requests for Tapo,in this way users who are interested with this feature could vote or comment for it, that will help with the feature evaluation! Thank you.
