Model: Tapo C100
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.3.4 Build 230613 Rel.39355n(4555)

5 of my 6 cameras went offline sometime on Monday evening (camera and firmware details below) and will not come back online. Have tried simple power off and on, reset gets through connecting to wifi then sticks on pairing in the app and the LED is on solid red.

We are in a large, old house and use a Three 5g mobile broadband box connected to a TL-PA8010P and 8 TL-WPA8631P units around the house and 2 outbuildings. The network has been working fine for 18 months though, presumably because of the old electric wiring in the house, I need to switch off and on the powerline units every month or so to keep everything working well. After a few glitches streaming music over the network on Monday I switched the PA8010P unit off and on and 5 of the cameras have not worked since then. One camera in an outbuilding is still working fine.

We also have 6 P100 smart plugs in the house and these are all working fine. I'm stuck with this now as the cameras are responding to a reset but only as far as connecting to wifi and then the LED goes solid red. Any advice please?

Cameras:

TC65 V1; 1.3.7 Build 230714 Rel.47774n(4555)

C310 V2; 1.3.7 Build 230714 Rel 47798n(4555)

C310 V2; 1.3.7 Build 230714 Rel 47798n(4555)

C100 V4; 1.3.4 Build 230613 Rel 39355n(4555)

C100 V4; 1.3.4 Build 230613 Rel 39355n(4555)

C100 V2; 1.3.6 Build 230512 Rel 47982n(4555)* This one still works

@Solla-topee thanks for that. It turned out the problem wasn't with the cameras at all, my Three 5g mobile broadband router had a recent firmware upgrade that for some people at least prevents some devices from connecting. I found that out on a Three forum, applied the fix someone suggested and all working again now.

Thanks, Mike

  @Big-ginge

Hi,
You can refer to the link below to troubleshoot if you fail to set up the Tapo cameras.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?

If the problem remains, please try to reboot the router/front AP, ensure there are no special rules(such as Firewall. MAC Filtering, BlockList, etc.) on the front router, then reset the camera and check if you can reconfigure it successfully.

Best Regards
