Does Smart Plug KP400/KP401 support 220V input?
Does Smart Plug KP400/KP401 support 220V input?
This link mention that KP400 support 100-240V https://www.tp-link.com/cz/support/faq/1390/
But in amazon it only say 120V support on input https://www.amazon.com/Kasa-Smart-Outlet-Outdoor-TP-Link/dp/B07M6RS2LC
For KP401 there is no mention in the FAQ site.

@Solla-topee So I can just plug KP401 to 220V without a step down transformer while the label say 125V input?

Hello @IndyCZ
Yes, the KP401 can be plugged into a power socket directly without a transformer in 220V areas.
Rest assured to use that. Hope this helps.

@Solla-topee Are there reason this compatability doesn't label on the product?

Hello @IndyCZ
For the smart plugs like KP401/KP400, they support dual-voltage 120- 240V when they were made in the factory, while the rating listed on the back label is based on the areas where they are being sold. (US) version is around 120V, (EU) version is around 220/ 240V.
If you wish to purchase a device from a different country, kindly note that tp-link doesn’t provide global warranty service, and you can only get a replacement from the region where you purchase your product from. Here is the RMA policy for reference.

@Solla-topee Hi! I've been digging deep to find answers to my question and it looks like I'm close.
I've been seeing that smart plugs are mostly multi-voltage despite the labels stating otherwise - consistent with my theory that they're made as such straight from the factory and will only be labelled for country compliance.
Does this hold true for the EP10 and KP303 both from the US?
Thank you.
