Smart Plug will not upgrade to newer firmware
Smart Plug will not upgrade to newer firmware
I have three Tapo P100 Smart Plugs. They are all Hardware Version 1.20.00 (purchased from Amazon). Two of the plugs work fine with Smart Actions, but the other will not.
Looking at the Firmware Versions on the devices, I see that the two that work with Smart Action have updated to 1.4.3 Build 20201127 Rel 60156. The one that doesn't work with Smart Actions is at Firmware Version 1.2.9 Build 20200813 Rel 43804.
When I try to configure Smart Actions with that device it says "Supported Firmware Coming Soon". My question is why is it "coming soon" and will not immediately update to the same firmware release as the other two fully functioning plugs? Is there any way to manually update the firmware?

I have some P100 v1.2 on FW 1.4.3
Noticed a few days ago a new firmware was available 1.4.5 but I can not update the plugs it just keeps failing.
Obviously tried removing them from plug socket to totally reboot them
