Tapo P100 power outage
I have a problem, I really like Tapo P100 and want to change my starting status.
My problem is that after a power outage, the p100 does not remember theprevious state and is always turned off.
How do I changeit ? Is there any setting for a power outage?

I also have this problem. After the power is restored, we hope that the P100 will be turned always on.

This must be fixed! I wanted to use several P100s for resetting my servers remotely if there is a problem. Now if there is a power outage i can not start them at all! This makes it completely unusable.
*EDIT: Starting it from the APP - Works!
But there must be notifications then (stopped working etc.) I can not always look at the app is it working or not. "Last state" will be perfect.

Having same problem. This kinda renders the device useless.. Need an firmware upgrade or i will be forced to return them and review them

@SRDSRD You'll probably need to add automation - I've yet to see this feature added to any device that was released without it... For example you could create 24 schedules, one per hour, to turn the device on.

The Tapo P100 and P105 requires an active Internet and WiFi connection to work, aside from having an active electrical current flowing through it. Without those three things, these plugs are useless. I guess TP-Link needed to have a low cost but low grade models to differentiate from their Kasa product suite hence they removed most important features to push new customers then to upgrade to Kasa.

Everytime I reboot my router (4 times in last 2 days) my 6 smart plugs loose connection and I have to reconnect all individually and sometimes they forget their names and schedules.
They need to be like hive devices thst reconnect to the network when it's available.
Also the ability to copy a schedule would be a great improvement.

@Stella.Q actually it doesn't as the plug needs to be reconfigured to the network again otherwise it won't work. I've done this 4 times in the last 2 days. I have 6 plugs.

Good day,
Could you please help me check the following information:
1. What is the model number of the home router?
2. What the color of the LED light on the Tapo plug, blinking red?
3. Would manually rebooting(unplug and plug it back) temporarily fix this issue or it has to be reset to recover the connection?
4. Can you still see this plug on the DHCP client list of the home router or are you still able to ping the plug on the computer?

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

I am facing the same problem with the P100.
Could you at least leave the choice to the user whether it should return to the previous state or been kept OFF after the power outage.
That would be a nice feature to implement
Thanks in advance
