KC120 Camera Videos are stored with no sound
Hello,
I've got a KC120 for living and dinning room, configured to record video and sound when motion is detected. But only videos from 30 minutes ago are being stored with audio, videos from early today and yesterday don't have audio, only video.
We recently add two KC100 for kitchen and garage, and since these two new cameras were added to the Kasa system the issues started.
Please advise.

Hello, please open kasa app and go to device settings-privacy and sensitivity page to choose record video and audio and please turn on the listen for sound feature which locates on the bottom of this page.
After that, try to stand in front of the camera and wave your hand with talking, and then please verify whether the camera records a clip with audio.
Meanwhile, you can change another smart phone to give it a go.

@Andressalgado81 I too have the same problem. The videos are being stored but sadly with no audio via the app. The audio on the camera does work but only when it's being viewed live. If I download the video onto my phone the audio does work though not during the app. Weird and a bit of a pain. I've selected 'record video and audio' but still no luck via the app. I have even gone to measures of uninstalling the camera and app. Annoying really as now it's more like a webcam than a camera. Tempted to cancel the monthly subscription and change over the Ring. I have a few of their cameras and they've never let me down (and store audio). Let me know if you have any luck.

@Andressalgado81 Same problem here too, except with a KC200 camera. Running app on a iPhone X iOS 14.0.1. The videos are being stored but no audio via the app or when clips are downloaded. The audio on the camera works when it's being viewed live. Has worked fine previously, not sure exactly when it stopped recording audio. Like others, I've tried selecting 'record video and audio' via the app. Suspect the problem may have started after a software update?

@Jmw I've had the same problem since I updated the Kasa App on my phone a couple of days ago. I've been in touch with Tp-link via facebook messenger & they are looking into it.

We have been aware of the issue that the clips recorded in the app have no sound when you try to play it online.
Our engineers are working on it and will release a solution as soon as we can.
By the way, what is your Kasa APP version? Is it 2.26?

I too have the same issue with my KC100 cameras which stopped play back of audio on my recordings a day ago. I can hear audio when going LIVE. There is a software glitch somewhere. Hope TP Link can fix the issue soon as I monitor my 91 year old Dad. For some of us this can be a real safety issue! Please get the software bugs worked out ASAP please!!!

@Solla-topee Same issue for my camera video clips. V2.26. No sound on stored clips even though I hear sound on live feed.
iPhone volume is up and not muted.
