@Stefan1975

Thanks for your reply, I got your point.

The NC450 does not support motion tracking, which KC110 supports.

The NC450 can detect the motion activity and record it. But it won't follow the moving object.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z

Hello,

Thank you for you answer. But i am Not referring to the recognition of movement, but to the persecution . The camera should follow a moving object. Greetings, Stefan

@Kevin_Z

I know for a fact that the NC450 does support motion tracking. I have 4 NC450 since more than a year, two of which are configured with motion tracking upon audio/motion detecting.

However, I cannot find the setting in the tpCamera app so I have no way to enable motion tracking on the other two, or disable motion tracking for that matter.

Anyone knows if the feature has been disabled with recent updates?

P.S. I do know the difference between motion detection and motion tracking.

@OscarN

Good day,

I am afraid that Tapo Cam does not support motion tracking, it support Pan/Tilt, motion detection, not the combination of them.

For the motion tracking, it is more like: the camera detected something was moving, then it would move with the motion so that it would record the whole action.

As for the motion detection, the direction of the camera would be fixed and it could only record part of the action.

Thanks a lot.
