I would like to use a smart plug to be able to remotely turn my router on and off.

I am finding with the Tapo p110 that I can turn it off remotely, but I can't turn it back on, as once the router is off there is no WiFi to be able to connect to the plug.

Does anyone know a way to do this, or a plug with this capability (eg memory or 4G inbuilt etc).

Any help greatly appreciated

Consider utilizing the schedule feature, smart plug's schedule still takes effect when the internet or wifi is down.

Create two schedules with different operation commands in a short interval, this helps if you want to reboot a router with the smart plug.

E.g.

1. Turn off plug at 02:00 PM

2. Turn on plug at 02:05 PM

  @Pricey00

I have schedules for my P110 plugs attached to my router and mesh points that turn off at 5.10am and back on at 5.11am every Sunday and it works well.
