Tapo Vacuum RV30 Plus - Mapping issues
1. Map issues
The map saved in my app is suddenly misaligned, resulting in the robot unable clean the zone/room/area properly. It even went to the wrong area.
The charging station is also at the wrong location in the map. The location is off by about 1-2 metres. The charging station is in my living room but the map shows that is it in my bedroom.
There are no carpets in my house, except that it is always stuck in my kitchen that i have to manually remove it when it is done as the floor is not on level.
I run the robot about once every 2-3 weeks.
How do I revert to the old map? I am unable to do it on the app. I only have one map saved.
Can the technical team please advise how to solve this issue?
2. Hardware update - My RV30 version is V1. Can it be updated?

During the cleaning process, the robot vacuum continuously scans its surroundings and repositions itself, updating both the cleaning progress and the map layout. Due to this operational logic, in rare cases, the map may shift or rotate under certain specific circumstances.
For your case, you may use the map Backup & Restore feature to revert to the correct map version if the problems occur.
Answer for inquiry two: Device hardware version cannot be updated.

I don't see "backup & restore" button in the app. It is never there. Is this the Tapo app? or is there another app?
There is no function whereby we can can drag the coloured zones to match the house layout. There is only rotating button which is not the issue that I am facing. This is frustrating.
I normally run it room by room basis to allow me time to remove obstacles on the floor before it starts cleaning. Should I run it to clean the whole house to see whether the map returns to normal?

On the Vacuum tab, click Smart Cleaning > click the floating Map icon on the upper right side > Map Management > Map Backup & Restore. If you don't see this option, make sure both Tapo app and the firmware of the robot vacuum are updated.
