My solar panel only charges between 80 to 85 % and so far (three weeks) seems to maintain that level even in privacymode. Is it designed to only reach that l level of charge to protect the battery?
Also even at maximum sensitivity it doesn't pick up people until within 12 to 15 feet or vehicles in the driveway 25 to 30 feet away. Is this normal?
Is the solar panel Tapo A200? Do you use it with the Tapo C425 camera?
Check whether the camera can be fully charged with power adapter. Where is the solar panel installed? Make sure it receives sufficient sunlight.
Check if there is any unusual in the battery charging data. Please share some screenshots of the camera's Battery Status and Solar Charging Data page (App -> Camers Device Settings -> Battery Status).
