Turning on device without digging through Tapo app
Good day. My use case for the Tapo smart plug is to turn on my coffee machine every morning, as it necessitates a warm-up time of at least 15 minutes.
However I might want to turn on the coffee machine without having to follow the scheduled timings. Is it possible to turn on the machine without using the Tapo app?

Another way is to get a Tapo smart button, and create automation to control the plug with the smart button. You can place the smart button on your nightstand or in key areas of your morning routine, such as next to the light switch in the bathroom.
Tapo S200B
Tapo S200D
A smart button has four different actions (single tap, double tap, rotate clockwise, rotate anticlockwise), you can not only control the smart plug on and off with one button but also able to manage other Tapo devices.

Yes indeed buttons are very useful and easy to use.
I have 3 of them powering On/Off 3 fans through 3 P110.
But keep in mind that you also need a hub nearby like Tapo H100 or H200.
Tapo Buttons work only through Tapo hubs.
Bonus addition of having a Tapo Hub is its siren which can be included in Automations.

@Triron Many thanks, I just purchased a pair of P100's. Now I'm wondering what to use the other unit for haha, I'm sure I'll come up with something.
