Blurry Images on CAM / Tapo C200
Hi, i have a pair of Tapo C200 cams, that came together in a pack.
I only used 1 cam so i kept the spare cam in its original box in a dry and dark room, but i installed the 2nd cam today and the image is totally blurry.
I have them both set to the same configurations and set to HQ in the live view page. I have rebooted it several times and gently cleaned the lens in case of any dirt but the image continues very blurry, almost unwatchable. It seems to be displaying in 480p instead of HD.
Please advice.

Hi,
Please ensure only your phone is watching the Tapo Cam 2 and disconnect other devices to watch it, then check if the image is clear.
Please check if there is anything stuck in front of the lens of Tapo Cam 2, and send me a picture of the camera's lens if possible.

I am also having same issues. I have two Tapo C200 cameras. Previously it was crystal clear. But now the video quality has gone down. Dont know how to clean also. Help me out in sorting this out. As of now its tsreaming in Zone minder console with high stream settings. @Fran69

Hi,
Please check if the camera lens is clean. If the outside of the lens is clean, you can carefully check whether there is mist inside the lens.
Are you watch the camera via the Tapo app? And does the camera work in a dry environment?

@Solla-topee Thanks for your reply. The outside looks clean. I think there is mist inside. Please advise on how to clean the mist. I am using it in Tapo App as well in Zone Minder setup for my workshop.

Hi,
Please help confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. Ensure the camera's lens is clear.
2. On the Tapo app>camera's Live View page, check if the Video Quality is set to HQ.
3. Disconnect the Tapo C200 from other devices if devices are streaming it via RTSP protocol, make sure only one phone is streaming the camera via the Tapo app.
4. Record a video manually on the camera's live view page, and try to play the video recording on the Tapo app, whether the issue remains.
