Tapo c200: permanent red led, will not connect
Tapo c200: permanent red led, will not connect
I've reset this camera once. It worked for 2 days. Then the camera rotated 180 degrees facing rear , red led is permanently on. I've tried unplugging it. But the end result is the same. The camera rotates to the back and led is permanently on red. I suppose I could reset it. But as I ve done this once already, I'm not sure it would end differently. I have set this up to reboot every morning with latest firmware

For camera Solid Red issue, make sure you have reset Tapo camera in the correct way:
RESET: with camera powered on , press the reset button for 5 secs and check if camera respond to the reset.
Please check my private message try to manually upgrade the firmware for C310 and see if that helps with the issue.
Check if Tapo camera is broadcast the default SSID.
May I know is there any power outage/ thunderstorm/unstable Wi-Fi during firmware update?
If camera still have a solid Red Led, it could be hardware defective it is recommend to contact the retailer or local store to check warranty.

Good day.
May I know how long have you had the camera and when did this issue start?
Is it possible that you could record a short video about the permanent red led, even after reset?
By the way, where are you located?
Thank you very much.

@Dessy I have similar issue with my Tapo c310. After firmware update, the camera went offline with steady solid red. Reset doesn't work. My camera is only a week old and it was its first firmware update.
