I have found this post, which seem to have solved my problem. I just had to set a custom DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) for each of the WAN ports. https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/537028

Thanks for the reply I have just tried the echo server with the ip-address: 1.1.1.1 I am not sure if the address can be used for that, but it did not work. one of the WAN should have been offline but...
