2 Omada AX1800's in mesh SSID but need separate SSID
2 Omada Ap's in mesh but need separate vlan/ssid
Hi,
New user of TP Link Omadas, got myself in a blind alley.
I've got 2 x AX1800 EAP620's for a home network connected to a TL-SG1008P and then to my fibre router. I've successfully set them up in a mesh, connected to internet all works great.
Now I would like to add a separate vlan /ssid for my heating system devices only so I can access remotely without seeing any other devices.
Rightly or wrongly I've ended up configuring an Omada cloud controller, added an SSID for the heating network and vlan but I can't see it even though it's broadcast enabled. My original mesh is still working fine just can't see the other ssid to connect my heating devices and thermostats too.
Any clues?

How did you configure the two EAPs? Use Omada APP, or their standalone page?
You don't need a cloud-based controller. You can install a free Omada software controller and manage the two EAPs.

After that, you may refer to the following guide to manage the two EAP units:
How to Set Up the Whole Network of Gateway, Switches, and EAPs Using Omada SDN Controller
And you can create multiple
SSIDs from the following page:
To create multi-VLANs, you need an Omada gateway, such as ER605.
