Hello everyone,

Newbie here.

I flashed LEDE on to my CPE210 that didn't work. I am trying to get back to the Pharos OS for CPE 210 V1.1. I followed the instructions at http://www.tp-link.com/fr-be/faq-844.html and updated the firmware.

Below is the log from Tftpd

Connection received from 192.168.0.254 on port 4013 [23/11 18:49:32.787]
Read request for file . Mode octet [23/11 18:49:32.787]
OACK: [23/11 18:49:32.787]
Using local port 50703 [23/11 18:49:32.787]
: sent 8699 blks, 4453887 bytes in 3 s. 0 blk resent [23/11 18:49:35.996]

I see the lan1 LED stable on my cpe but couldn't get to the management page as the gateway is unreachable. It is listed as unidentified network on my windows10 network connection list.
Is there a way I could recover to Pharos OS. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the club! :) See this thread: http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?81684-How-to-use-firmware-recovery-function-of-Pharos-CPE

Albeit I use OpenWRT/LEDE on many different SoCs and like it, I would not recommend to install it on Pharos devices (at least not at this time).

Yes, exactly followed the steps in that URL. My default gateway is unreachable after doing the update. I connected the LAN to my laptop and powered up the CPE, the LAN gets stabled after sometime before which it goes through Enabled, Network Cable Unplugged and finally to Unidentified Network. I did change the IP settings as described in the guide.

I tried again several times and firmware upgrades using TFTPD without any hassle. I have downloaded the right firmware version from the country specific page on TP-Link website.

Ok. Did you read post #24? http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?81684-How-to-use-firmware-recovery-function-of-Pharos-CPE&p=203030&viewfull=1#post203030

You are not the only one who has those kind of problems. The installation of OpenWRT/LEDE seems to be one-way only at this time unless you re-install all the parts overwritten by them. It should be the responsibility of the OpenWRT guy who did the port to the CPE to ensure that the original firmware can be re-installed. At least, they should add a warning about being one-way only.
