Hello Everyone,
With just new purchase and set up of omada EAP772 V1, device often goes to the status 'adopting' and blue light keep blinks. I have another EAP772 V2, this device performs well. this is connected with switch TLSG2210MP. i tried to reset and connected again but still after few hours, running into the same issue.
Any suggetions and advise to sort out this probelm. many thanks in advance for your response.

Hi @Imransyf11
It seems like there is a hardware defect on the EAP772.
Please contact your retailer to check the warranty. Thanks.

Hi @Imransyf11
The blinking blue light indicates the EAP772 has no internet access at that time.
Did you check the ethernet cable of the EAP772?
Next time when the issue happened, you may unplug the cable from the EAP772, and plug a PC into the same cable to check the internet access, so we could know if this is the EAP's issue;
Here is another method to narrow down the cause: swap the cables to the two EAP772, see if the issue come with the EAP772 v1, or the cable.
BTW, how many clients are connecting to the switch TLSG2210MP?

@Vincent-TP thanks for your response.
As per your advise, i unplugged the cable and plugged to my pc, i see very stable internet connection same max speed as ISP.
Second, regard to TLSG2210MP connections, i have two EAP772 connected (one V1 and other V2) + OC200 + ER605 + 1 another switch TL-SG1016PE + other ports goes wired connections with other devices like TV, another PC, printer etc.
Please advise further, awaiting your response. thank you.

Hi @Vincent-TP , thanks for your response.
when i power this EAP with 12V power adapter it is working without issue. Also i tried to swap the another EAP 772 of V2 in this connection, i see the network speed is changed to 10 mbps but device is connected (no adopting like in V1). So i think this ethernet backhaul is connected to switch via two couplers may causing the issue, not sure. whats your opinion on this.
On the other hand, when EAP 772 V1 is connected with direct ethernet cable w/o couplers, the device connecton is stable. thanks.

Hi @Imransyf11
Thank you for sharing your observations and troubleshooting steps.
Yes, we also had similar feedback before. Sometimes, insufficient power supply would cause this kind of issues.
If using POE supply, please use a shorter and better quality cable to connect EAP. The PC works fine with the same cable while the EAP not, it is because the PC doesn't need power via the cable, while the EAP does.
