Hello.

I am experiencing issues with setting up port forwarding on my TP-Link ER7212PC gateway, which is managed via the Omada SDN controller. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this problem.

Current Setup

  • WAN Port: The WAN3 port is active and has been assigned a public IP address.
  • Port Forwarding: I attempted to create a rule under the "Transmission > NAT > Port Forwarding" menu.
    • While setting up, I received a message stating, "To select a WAN port as the interface, go to Wired Networks > Internet to enable the desired WAN port."
    • However, WAN3 is already enabled under "Wired Networks > Internet," and it is functioning correctly for internet access

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

The WAN is enabled, the internet is working, and a public IP is assigned. However, as shown in the picture, the toggle for WAN3 is blue but fixed, and when I try to configure the WAN, it says there is no WAN at this location. What could be the issue?

All the router got dedicated WAN which cannot be toggled off.

Is your connection linked to the WAN3? It should be displayed.

Is your modem connected to WAN3?

Dedicated WAN port of this model is WAN3, cannot be toggled off.
