Hi!
I am encountering sudden disconnection from time to time ( only 1 AP is used as for home use ( 6 clients on 5ghz, and 4 on 2.4 Ghz)
Omada controller (Controller Version 5.14.32.2 (Stable))  is installed on Proxmox. AP is connected directly in Router ( Mikrotik in same subnet as Proxmox is) no vlans present.

Suddenly connection is dropped  for few seconds and the reconnect. Making impossible to have quality meetings.

What was observed:

On mikrotik monitoring I can see that link is going down and then UP

From EAP  tmp\eapmesh.log

Tried different cable, other port in router, behaviour is the same.

 Hi @Max_Si

It looks like the EAP didn't get a proper power supply.

How did you power on the EAP?

When the issue happened, did you observe the LED status of the EAP?

Hello,

EAP is powered by the power supply that came in the box of EAP.

Havent observed as EAP is hidden, will try to observe.

Interesting fact, yesterday after I posted this, I got all users off from wifi 5ghz of EAP. And I havent see any link up/down after that..

Hi  @Max_Si

Do you mean this only happening on 5G, and meanwhile, the 2.4G is working correctly?

Is the firmware the latest?

  @Vincent-TP
I dont really use 2.4 g.  I dont have devices connect to it. I moved devices to another wifi AP  ( Archer c7)
So for now I`m using only 5g for my computers, phone, etc..

Latest Available firmware for EAP.

What I did, is that I moved yesterday all clients from 5g wifi to same archer c7.
So today I checked logs on my mikrotik, and didnt saw any links down/up events.

I will monitor today, and will add 1 devices one by one in some interval of time.
