Model: Tapo C510W
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

Hello,

I have the following setup:
Inernet connection: 1gbps
Router: TP Link Archer BE800
Camera: C510W, firmware 1.1.1 Build 231107 Rel. 67816n, hardware version 1.0, SD card Samsung specially for cameras 128 GB

Wifi 2.4 Ghz, signal strength -63(RSSI)

App: Tapo version 3.7.113 (Android)

The problems i have are:
1. I've tried updating the carmera firmware several times(to version 1.2.2), it said it was successful but the camera still shows the original firmware...
2. The camera isn't always accessible when on local network and even more often i cannot access playback & downloads off the card. But the camera appears online 99% of the time, it just fails to show live feed, recordings or settings.
3. The same problem from 2 is escalated to very freqvent when phone is not on local network.

I'm looking for solutions because the camera is relatively new but not fully useful.
The camera is shared with another family member and that may be staining the connection more, but on IOS it feels like the connection problems are more frequent.

Hi,
1. Please ensure you are using the original power adapter from the box to power the camera.
2. Remove the SD card from the camera. Since the Wi-Fi signal strength is not very strong, move the camera close to the router if possible, then reboot the router, reboot the camera, and then check if you can update the firmware successfully.
If so, check if the connection will be more stable.
Best Regards

Interesting you would bring up the power adapter. I am using the original one, but the power line is extended from the light. I'll have to check if there are any fluctuations because of it.

I'll get back after I try the update on a more stable signal.
