Hello colleagues,

i have a problem with the connection speed of the EAP225 5.1.0 Build 20220926 Rel. 62456 - it will only connect with 100Mbps to the TL-SG108PE V4.20.

TL-SG108PE V4.20 Firmware Version is the latest 20230711 - but i also tried the earlier one 20230218.

No changes after Hard Reset - all other devices are working normally (on this switch).

When i try to force the 1Gbps on the TL-SG108PE it disconnects the AP.

Also tried to connect with another Patchcable directly to the Switch.

Connection to a C....(don´t know if i should write it out :-)) 2960X brings the 1Gbps.

there really was a piece of the drywall painting in the connection of the AP.

Someone from the drywall workers had it unplugged 😓

Never had something like this until now and ím working everyday with these things🤦‍♂️.

This thing didnˋt get out even when I plugged and unplugged it a few times.

Normally these problems are cable issues.

Are you using the exact same cable and port for the test? (if not test is bogus, if yes and you get 1G on other devices, see below)

If you use a different cable and port to connect the AP does the same result happen? (if no cable issue, if yes, inspect the ethernet jack on the AP for bent pins or debris
