Hello,

I have a couple of TP-Link APs and a PoE switch TL-SG108PE.

I occasionally upgrade the APs without any issues.

Recently, I wanted to upgrade the TL-SG108PE switch to the latest version. However, I have no upload firmware option. For the APs I upload the firmware file and then click on the upgrade now. With the switch, though, there's only an upgrade button but no way of uploading the latest firmware.

See screen shot below - kindly advise:

Uhm.....have you ever tried to reset this switch?

You can backup the files of all settings firstly and reset the switch, after that check if the issue still exist.

If you click “Ready” does the import files page appear?
Or does it jump back to this screen?


Otherwise try a few more web browsers, preferably with the private window.

Hi @Virgo,

When I click Ready the switch goes to some sort of halt mode, he basically becomes unavailable until I reboot it.

And no, the ready button doesn't present the option to upload firmware.

I tried from few different browsers in Icognito/Private window.

Hi,

Indeed after resetting the switch I click on Firmware upgrade and then a new window comes up providing the option to upload new firmware.
