You would sadly need to give us some more info on your setup, how are these connected and powered? POE switch? Is it an Omada switch and is there VLANs in place? Do you have a controller running the APs.
It does sound like a routing issue rather than anything AP based, could also be the encryption type is different on the other models of APs (WPA vs WPA2)
Sorry we would need more info from you

These AP s are powered by poe adopter comes with AP.
Dont have VLAN. Only normal setup is there.
Dont have omada switch. Normal TP Link 1 gbps 24 port unmannaged switch is there,
Its a college campus, so we dont setup a password, its open wifi,
AP s managed by omada software running in one server pc.

Got an idea..
What version of the Controller software are you running? And what is the firmware versions of your APs?
This could be a firmware to controller version issue..

I also tried stand alone mode in AP.
But it didn't work.
Latest version firmware 1.1.3
Latest version of omada controller installed.

I would need the exact details from you for the firmwares. For example the latest SDN controller is 5.9.32 which only supports the EAP 110 v4. If you have EAP110s and the controller software is older, it may be SDN v3 or SDN v4 which doesnt support the EAP225 on the latest fimrwares.
However, this does sound like a routing issue and not the EAPs.. Have you tried a /24 subnet mask to see if that is an issue?

I will tell you exact versions of firmware and controller version tommorrow.
No not tried the /24 subnet.

i definitely believe this is a problem with your setup with the router/switch.
regardless the eap and controller for wifi settings, what else do you have?
esp your router and switch, what did you config before? advanced settings like vlan and routing table, did you modify anything like that?
i strongly investigate your switch/router settings. if you need help from forum, you gotta specify them or we can only point the direction for you.

Hello @Prashant12,
1. Please confirm whether the EAP225 is powered on normally, you may check the LED light status on it. It is suggested to use the original POE adapter to supply the power for EAP for testing.
2. Please use the phone/laptop to connect to the EAP’s Wi-Fi. If there is an error message “Obtain IP address fails”, or the phone can connect it but the IP address is 169.254.x.x.
It is because the connection between the router and EAP fails. Please check the physical connection from the router to the EAP. If you are not sure, please use a PC to replace the EAP, connecting with the same Ethernet port and cable to check whether the PC can get internet or not.
Does EAP get a valid IP?

3. It means the route is good from the client device to the router if you can ping through the Gateway's IP address.
But you can not ping through the Google DNS, it means you need to check the connection on your gateway side not on the EAP225.
