Hello,
I am trying to connect to EAP225 , one as a extender and one as a repeater.
It is not clear for me how to do it with all the configuration mode i did readed on the webside ..
I am not a pro with informatic, so there is something i missed , because i can see each of them on the Omada app,
but unable to conficure them to dialogue...
Do i need some extra materiel ?
Can someones help please ?
Thanks very much
P.S. It is possible that i have more questions further an answer..I try to speak to someone french, but no one , and then i tried the hotline, always busy...

In order to have MESH, you will need either a hardware controller, like the OC200, or install the Software Controller on a computer that is on the same network.
In controller it would like this, except you would show two EAP225, one wired (ROOT) and one wireless.

i will order a OC200 and try it now and hoping everything will work

RJB is correct, to do this you will need a controller of some description, OC200 for example.
You mentioned using the Omada App, that is for standalone devices only... im therefore guessing you dont have a controller at present?

Thats pretty much it yeah
Place the controller and from it adopt the first AP (one connected via LAN cable). Once it managed setup the SSID and security as you need
Under advanced options, enable MESH
Power on the AP to be MESH connected, give it a few mins and it should appear for adoption. Job done!

Use the 2-port OC200 on whatever connection needs the least amount of throughput (as those ports are only 100Mbps capable). For instance, if you want the most performance from your 2 meshed APs, then I would connect the wired base EAP225 to ETH1 directly, the OC200 to ETH2 directly and the old PC to the second port of the OC200. That will allow your wifi clients to exceed 100Mpbs, but limit the PC to 100Mbps or less.
If both the PC and the AP want 1Gbps connections, then you could run 2 ethernet cables to the wired base EAP225, one cable to ETH1 on your modem, the other cable to the OC200. Because unlike the OC200, the 2 ports in the EAP225-outdoor are GigE capable (if you have the indoor EAP225 this is not an option for you)
Or you buy a $25 5-port unmanaged GigE switch and plug that into your modem, and then plug the AP, Computer and OC200 into the switch.
Finally if you ever want to do anything fancy with the APs in the future, you'll wind up needing to buy an Omada capable router and switch too.

@speedygonzales as already stated, the ports on the OC200 are 100Mbps. You can come out of the ETH1 on the OC200 to modem / router, then plug something that does not require gigabit into ETH2.
Personally I would opt for a switch to add additional ports. If you plan on expanding your Omada Network even more, then you could choose an Omada compatible switch. If you are going to be done with the network after this addition then just get an inexpensive 4 to 6 port switch.

Thanks a lot..
Maybe i am not enough fast to understand, but yesterday i plugged OC200 in ETH1 of the router , then i plugged the antenna in the OC200, and i tried..
I had signal, but coming on anf off... So never been able to configure it totally.
If i plug the antenna directly on ETH1 of the router, was is the use of the OC200 ?
I need 100' wired cable to place the antenna where it has to go. Will i have to buy another wired cable to plug it in the OC200 ?
Now i am really confused ,and just thinking of putting all those stuff back in boxes, and return it...
I am a visual person ( don't know if you say that like this in english) , and i tried to follow all instructions on the little booklet and on website, but i still not being able to use my antenna ... And it's frustating.. sorry
