Fresh experience: is it normal that the motion sensor works only within 7 meters?
Tried with max range, sensitivity and with 3 different position (little left, center, right) and 2 angle (approx with the recommended 20-25, and once with slightly less), so thats 6 different setup.
6-7 meters is the best i can get, now, so not daylight.

Hi,
With the wake-up sensitivity and motion detection sensitivity set to the highest value, if your motion can't be detected by the camera, please go to the camera's Live View page to record your motion manually, and send us the video recording and a picture of the activity zone page for further analysis.
Best Regards

Its a joke, a toy:)
I have a door, approx 10 meters far from the camera.
You can enter without any alarm, but when you leave, it works.
It's like a dog.

Hi,
When you enter the door, do you walk directly towards the camera? You can refer to the link below to know how the Tapo C420 woke up, and due to the PIR sensor mechanism, the camera may not detect objects moving directly toward it to some extent.
What is the Wake-up Sensitivity of my battery camera/doorbell?
Best Regards
