Just installed my first TP-Link AP, the new EAP610 and an OC200.

I'm baffled that the OC200 only shows 4 5GHz channels available. Can someone confirm if the EAP610 is really limited to 4 5GHz channels or maybe this is a limitation of the OC200?

I'm testing these APs to replace my current Engenius APs, which have about 12 5GHz channels...

Thanks!

@MiguelS

To my knowledge the EAP610 is brand spanky new, in that it's still only got the original release firmware.    If the other EAPs are anything to go by, the channels and tonnes of fixes will come out in the next firmware or two.

You must be one of the first early adopters of this device, its not even reading as released yet :)

I ended returning the AP, I simply can't live with only four 5GHz channels...

@MiguelS  When I bought the EAP620HD, there were also only 4 channels. The next firmware added 8 more channels. Now there are 12 channels at 5GHz. But no one bothers to download the US firmware and get channels right now. I did this from EU to US and got additional channels. Be a little smarter at least sometimes
