TL-R605 v1.0 unable to add to Omada Controller (Not compatible)
I am running Omada 4.2.4 on a virtual machine. Today I have rebooted the Omada server, after rebooting the omada server came up normally and the switch and Access Points also...
Except the Router which was running fine.... Now I get the message the device is not compatible.....
It is in a loop of connecting, adopting , provisioning and then restarts the cycle again... the device is running as a production router and internet connection works as expected.....
Before the reboot the device was connected normally...

Hi All,
For the issue discussed in this post, the R&D team will fix it in the next update of the Omada Controller (maybe release in earlier Feb).
Besides, I will start a new thread Here and pin it to the top once there is a new version to be released for Omada SDN Controller.
Currently, you could try rebooting the TL-R605 router as a temporary solution.

Dear @RBL,
Had to remove the power from the TL-R605 and after that the adoption worked again.
Ensure you are using the original 9V/0.85A power adapter to power up the TL-R605 router.
Insufficient power supply may cause some abnormal issues.
By the way, there is a newer version for the Omada Software Controller, you may upgrade it for better performance.

I'm running a HW controller on version 4.2.11 and the TL-R605 router is still on v1.0.0 I'm getting the exact same issue the original poster mention including the error. I've power cycled the router and rebooted the controller to no avail.
I can't upgrade the router to the new version because the controller is cyclying between adopting and provisioning.
How can I correct this w/o having to reload my entire configuration??
Thanks for any help,
Ryan

You may try upgrading the router in Standalone mode, access the router's management page with its IP address then upload the firmware for upgrading. After you upgrade the router, refer to this FAQ to adopt the R605 with your Omada Controller.
