I'm trying to add another Smartplug Mini and the Kasa won't see my network even though everything else, including the phone, has no problem with it.

I read through the " HS105 Smart Plug Mini Communication Issue" thread but nothing there made any difference.

My settings are:

Security: WPA2/WAP Mixed Personal
Network Mode: Mixed
Channel: Auto (all options are in the 2.4 MHz range)
Channel Width: Auto

This is on a LinkSys WRT1200AC router

What's even stranger is I can pull the app, see the other TP-Link devices, and have no problem controlling them through the app.

It can sometimes take a few tries before it sees the wifi. Does it see any other SSID or nothing at all? If can't see the wifi signal while the other one can (assuming this newer one is closer to the router than the working one), it sounds like it's broken. Maybe try returning/exchanging it for another?
