The HS100 SmartSwitch WILL NOT CONNECT TO AN OPEN ROUTER NOR ONE THAT USES MAC FILTERING!!!
Encryption must be enabled before WiFi connection can be established. There is no mention of this in the manual and Tech Support is clueless of this requirement.
