Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

All:

I don't think its possible yet or probably ever, but I have a HS200 switch that I bought and hooked up. Everything is working, but obviously when I get to the WIFI part and connect to the TP-Link wifi, it wants me to join my secure network.

What are ways around this if any ?

I live in an area where no one can access my wireless, so I hide my SSID and have no security setup.

I wanted to see if anyone else is doing it this way or not ?

Use the guest network ? if thats the case, I'd have to make sure my alexa is on the guest network as well ?

Thanks all !

@ch3ss

I would go with the guest network option. Like you mentioned a secured network is a must.

Alexa is dependent on remote access, and your Kasa app will access the switch remotely. So even though you will not have local access, you will still have full functionality remotely.
