EP40 smart outdoor plug not sending power through Plug 1
I have an outdoor 2-plug Kasa smart plug model EP40 - both Plug 1 and Plug 2 were working fine for over a year. I unplugged the unit from my back yard and plugged it into the front yard outlet (to run Christmas lights) over the holidays. All worked fine. I unplugged the unit after the holidays and moved it to the back yard again. I sealed up both outlets (Plugs 1 & 2) and it sat for several months without use in an outside environment.
Yesterday, I got my back yard water fall cleaned out and running again, however, I could not get any power out of Plug 1, only Plug 2 would work. Today I deleted the EP40 out of my app and added it back in successfully. Got solid green lights on the system status for both Plugs 1 & 2, but still no power comes out of Plug 1, only Plug 2 works. The app shows both Plugs are connected and working, but again no power coming out of plug 2. Is this unit defective, or is there a way to reset it?
