These cameras are great, and love the integration with Home Assistant. The only thing I wish I could do is add the 'Home Mode' and 'Away Mode' entities. This way automations could be set up when I leave my home or come back. Is there anyway to get these added?
The Home and Away Modes are pretty limited - even at a Tapo level right now. They are only available on the Cameras tab on the app and are not yet automatable in Smart Actions. I also believe that since it is closer to a Smart Action than it is a device since it affects more than one device; it would likely be a link that would be for your entire TP-Link ID, which I wouldn't expect them to add. Ideally, you would be able to configure the same function of the Away Modes in your third party platform.
