I got the TD25 doorbell in early January and I enabled always-on since day 1 with continuous recording. Everything was fine during the first week with no issue. However, after one week, it started to have battery draining issue when always-on is enabled. The battery drops 20% in a day. After two days, the app will disable always-on mode by itself. I have a 16V30VA doorbell transformer. I tested both the transformer and wires with multimeter and they are all working fine. When I charge the doorbell with USB-C, it only takes like few hours. But when I hardwired it, it takes few days to a week to fully charge the doorbell. I contacted support and they said always-on is not supposed to use any battery but it is. There is no battery drain issue when always-on is off (because the device is asleep). It has been three weeks since I contacted support and still no solution. Is this a TD25 problem? Is it also happening on D225? I am afraid this is a TD25 and should I just get a D225? I am also wondering what will happen on D130 since there is no battery only hardwired.
