I successfully added my Matter-enabled Tapo smart switch to Apple Home without any issues, but it’s being recognized only as a light. This is a bit frustrating since it’s controlling a ceiling fan, and I’d like it categorized correctly. When I installed KASA smart switches at my previous home, I remember having the option to designate them as either a light or a fan. Is there a way to update or customize the device type in Apple Home? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
