I will definitely provide an update when a 3-Way Switch with matter compatibility is released. Most of the releases that we are seeing were first teased or announced during CES - so we will definitely see more announced over the coming months.

I cannot imagine that we would not release a device for this purpose, it may simply take slightly longer as we are essentially seeing the release of the most basic form of smart home products with matter. I will see if i can dig up any information about a prospective release, however, you will most likely need to wait for a larger announcement from the company later in the year.

While I have no news, I think that it is something that should not be relied upon for a few reasons. One, we are not seeing too many devices, from any brand, being updated to support Matter. The only cases that we see are situations in which matter compatibility is added through a separate hub that communicates with the devices which is something that the teams are looking at for our exiting Tapo sensors. 

Furthermore, it looks like Matter and Non-Matter devices are both being released (KS220 vs KS225 are Still both in Production)

You are correct. The two are essentially the same except for their compatibility with protocols/services.

Smart Dimmer Switch: KS220 and KS225 are Equal, with the KS225 Supporting Matter

Smart Switch: KS200 and KS205 are Equal with the KS205 Supporting Matter

I would recommend taking a look at my response on this thread. The device should still set to release this or early next month.

While CES devices will not always come to fruition, you will often see devices released a year or more after their announcement at CES.
