I think it would be hopeful to see a device, especially our first matter device, receive such a large update to how they work. 

I think our companies' current focus is on Matter over Wi-Fi, with Tapo's Sub-G devices filling the void of thread devices for the time being. I know that our teams have looked at the standard in the past, but I am not sure if anything will come of it.

Also though, keep in mind that the interference is only one part of the advantages offered. Matter offers a lot more beyond this, such as adding ot multiple platforms at once, or allowing all your Wi-Fi devices to communicate with each other, without the need for a border router.
