In November of 2023 I got four X55 Pros and set them up in access point mode with a wired gigabit backhaul.

 

(I use a separate router)

 

Due to home renovation, I unplugged one of the Decos shortly after getting them. I unplugged it from the network, and power, and removed it from the network in the Deco app.

 

Now it won't rejoin the network.

 

If I reset it (paperclip into reset switch), it eventually flashes blue. When I go to add it to the network in the app, the app says it can't find it.

 

It does eventually return to flashing green, but never shows up in the app.

 

I've tried the reset-and-add procedure with it plugged into one of the working decos, and not, and right next to one of the working deco.

 

Same result.

 

Any suggestions?

I think it might be caused by the old firmware on the idle Deco X55 Pro.

If possible, you could temporarily use this unit to create a new Mesh system to get it online first:

 

1. Connect this unit via an Ethernet cable directly to the DHCP router, then refer to the following FAQ to set up a new Mesh network.

2. The latest firmware for Deco X55 Pro_V1 is 1.4.1 Build 20240723
