Model: HS300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I've had my HS300 smart strip for over a year and a half. I only have one schedule created for it, and that's to turn off plug #1 at midnight (12:00am). It was working fine until a few weeks ago, around the time DST fell back an hour. Now it shuts off at 11:00pm, AND 12:00 am (if I turn it back on).

No other systems are controlling it. Alexa knows about it, but I have no routines setup for it, only in Kasa.

I tried deleting the device and re-discovering it, but it made no difference.

I have no idea why this is happening, but it's VERY annoying.

Any ideas?

@Steel_Rat

Go into the settings of the Kasa app and resync the time, then look at the device settings to see if that is corrected. Alternatively, you can modify the time zone to compensate for the hour off.

@Tony Thanks for the reply. The time shown by the device is correct. As is the time zone. Everything looks normal. But for some reason it runs the shutoff schedule at 11pm and 12am.

Well, I don't know what fixed it, but it's behaving as it should now.
