After linking my HS1XX TP-Link to Alexa; device disappears from Kasa app

I just linked my Smart Plug/ light to my Alexa.
The device no longers appears on my Kasa app but it still appears in my roommate's App. I can not add the device because now the app doesn't recognize the wifi link.
The device works manually and verbally through Alexa/ Alexa app but is no longer accessible through my Kasa app.
I tried to add the device again, but the outlet is already synced and I can not go through the original sync process.
Thoughts?
