@manders500 Ok. Right after I posted this thread on this forum I went in and did a full reset (again) on the router and chose another SSID when setting it up again and didn't see the weird behavior...

@manders500 This sounds like a different problem, is this happening when you are connected via ethernet (cable) or only on wifi?
