@MaddMax2u Thanks, but I did a factory reset with no change in results. In checking the Tether app has high speed mode set to "Auto". Which apparently turns off one network to speed up the other....

Got my RE315 yesterday. The 2.4G light does not come on, indicating it is not connected. 5G is ok. I connected with the Tether app which list both the 2.4G and the 5G. But the extender is not...
