@Kevin_Z Problem Solved, after doing a soft reset (retaining SSID names and resetting everything else) the router now holds onto my 2.4ghz clients and has stopped dropping them.

@Kevin_Z No QoS enabled. But since new firmware update the router keeps dropping ALL of my 2.4 gHz connections at random times. I'm going to do a factory reset and see how things turn out.
