I am using the TP-PA8030P Powerline extender. If I have the extenders in the same room I can see them and they connect together. If I move one of them to the basement, on the same panel they can not see each other. I have a portable generator cutout switch which takes the electric company power off line so I can use my generator when necessary. This is a regular circuit breaker. Could this be the reason that I can't see the extender in the basement?
I have tried to add the remote but that fails.
