Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.o.11

I have a brand new Archer 7 router. I have successfully added 5 TPLink Extenders (RE220 | AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender). I can see everything working fine on the iOS Tether app and on the A7 router dashboard through a browser. However, when I add a 6th Extender (shown below as RE220 and as LivingRoom), I can see it on the iOS app fine (LivingRoom) , but on the A7 dashboard (RE220), it doesn't register under OneMesh. When I click ADD on the browser dashboard I get a message that says "FAIL".  Is this a bug?

@FredS

Hi Fred,  OneMesh is still fairly new service.  Give us a bit of time to investgate and we will let you know.  In the meantime please let us know a few things:

1.  How large is your home (Sq Foot wise)

2.  Is there any error codes other than fail that appear when you try to add the RE220?

thank you

@Carl

square footage is 1188

No other error code appears. When I try to add through the Archer portal a small blue "Fail" pops up and fades away. That is all I see.

What was your fix? I'm having the same problem with a RE305 that is in access point mode. I'm only trying to use this one extender and have no other onemesh devices

Same problem here too but with the new Powerline TL-WPA8631P V3.  I have five of these Powerline devices connected to my Archer A7 router perfectly along with an RE300 and RE505.  Trying to add another TL-WPA8631P V3 and the 'Failed' message with a sad face emoji pops up.  This also happened on an RE315 but I ended up returning it for a refund and bought the RE505 as a replacement, which connected instantly. Not sure if its a software compatibility issue or a physical limit on the number of OneMesh dviced an Archer A7 router will support, but its very odd.
